altM raises $10.3 million to scale production of specialty chemicals from agricultural waste
Founded in 2022 by former Tesla manufacturing executives Apoorv Garg and Yugal Raj Jain, altM develops specialty chemicals and biomaterials by converting agricultural residue such as sugarcane bagasse and rice straw into industrial inputs that can replace conventional fossil-derived materials.
