Privacy Policy

This policy explains how BuzzPatrika handles information when you use the website buzzpatrika.com or the BuzzPatrika Android app (com.buzzpatrika.app). The app opens the same website, so this policy covers both.
In short: you don't need an account, we don't show ads, we don't add any advertising or analytics trackers of our own, and we don't sell or share your personal information.
What we collect
- Anonymous reading counts. When you tap "Read More" or "Read Full Story", we add one to a counter for that story so we can see which stories are popular. The counter stores only the story, the type of tap and the time of the latest tap. It contains no name, account, device ID, IP address or anything else that identifies you.
- Hosting performance monitoring. Our hosting provider, GoDaddy, may add its own performance-monitoring script to our pages. When it is active, it sets cookies (such as
_tccl_visitor,_tccl_visitand_scc_session) and sends page-load measurements, such as page address, load times and browser details, to GoDaddy. GoDaddy handles this under its own privacy policy. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings. - Server logs. Our hosting provider (GoDaddy) automatically keeps standard web server logs, which include your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. They are used only to run and secure the website and are kept for a limited period under the provider's own retention policy.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos or any other personal information, and we do not ask for any Android permissions beyond internet access.
What is stored on your device
- Your browser's local storage keeps your own reading counts so the site can show them to you.
- The website and app save recently loaded pages and stories on your device so you can read them offline.
This information stays on your device. You can remove it at any time by clearing the site data in your browser, or the app's storage in Android settings.
Content from other websites
- News stories are short summaries of reports from other publishers. "Read the full story" opens the publisher's own website, which has its own privacy policy.
- Images shown next to stories may load directly from the publisher's or image provider's servers. Those servers can see your IP address when the image loads, as with any website.
- Market prices are fetched by our server, not by your device, so your device does not contact the market data provider.
- Share buttons for WhatsApp, X and Telegram only open those services when you tap them. Nothing is sent to them before that.
How we use information
We use the anonymous reading counts to understand which stories readers find useful, and server logs to keep the service working and secure. We do not use any information for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell, rent or share it with anyone, except where required by law.
Security
All connections to buzzpatrika.com are encrypted with HTTPS.
Children
BuzzPatrika is a general news service and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
Because we do not collect personal information or create accounts, there is no profile to view or delete. If you have a question or request about your information, email us and we will respond.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the effective date above.
